I was tonight's old when I learnt that, in fact, plot bunnies aren't bunny-furry (fan)fiction. I spent an entire decade (literally) avoiding Tolkien plot bunnies, thinking it was furry Elves costumed as Easter rabbits doing the thing. That's what I get for being a sporadic fanfic reader.

It's worse than the time (two years ago-ish) I realised orphaned_account isn't a multifandom author on ao3 with skyrocketing hyperproductivity.

My world is upside down.

'Plot bunnies' was something I couldn't understand the appeal of, and why so many would write bunny-furry fiction. *facepalm*
