Akane asking the right question
Finally finished Andrzej Sapkowski's The Last Wish: Introducing the Witcher. I'm sorry I can't understand Polish--I heard that Sapkowski's prose and wordplays were lost in translation. I did enjoy the translation, however. The book caught my interest near the end and I'm looking forward to read Sword of Destiny. I'm a big fan of Dandelion. He's impossible. One wonders how Dandelion and Geralt are friends, as their personalities heavily contrast, but as they say, opposites attract.
I received Dragon Age: The First Five Graphic Novels in the mall weeks ago and tackled the first three stories (The Silent Grove, Those Who Speak and Until We Sleep) on vacation. It could be that I was sick and foggy, but I didn't quite understand the pacing of the stories and the narration. Magekiller is more linear, thus easier to follow. The first trilogy is enjoyable for someone who wants more on Alistair, Isabela and Varric, but I wouldn't recommend it otherwise. A bit disappointed Zevran didn't make an appearance (he was only mentioned au passage).
Currently reading Le Jardinage écologique by Yves Gagnon. I have a newly found interest in permaculture, gardening and farming.
